Red Snapper

Tarpon

Cobia
Every spring, cobia migrate along Florida’s Gulf and Atlantic coastlines to spawn. They are commonly seen near natural reefs, shipwrecks, or other structures in the water, where they often gather around natural reefs and shipwrecks. Cobia have large flat heads characterized by rows of short spines on their dorsal fins that stretch between their dorsal fins.
Cobia fishes are curious creatures and will frequently swim right up to boats for feedings, often following Red Snapper to the surface when hooked. During Summer months they can often be seen following hooked reef fish like Red Snapper to the surface for surface viewing.
These large, powerful fish provide an exciting target to pursue from both land and water. You can catch one using various techniques – trolling or drift fishing with live bait or lures as well as cut bait or both methods can work.
Flounder
